The road walk continued with me following rte. 49 through Glacier National Park. There are turnouts throughout the paved section that provide excellent views. The roads were NOT designed to walk on however, and the consequence for slipping would at times be deadly.
On night 3 I stopped at a Blackfoot Reservation campground located on an islet called Chewing Blackbones, and stealth camped right outside of East Glacier Village last night. My body is finally feeling acclimated and I had no trouble with cardio or or altitude in general. Im currently hosteled at a little place called Luna’s Base Camp in EGV. Very chill atmosphere. My CDT bandana has appeared to walk off. I guess it needed a new home. I head out in the morning on a 133 mile section taking me through the Bob Marshall Wilderness, voted one of the best sections by CDT hikers
